Damaged and unhealthy trees usually pose a significant danger to property and people. This is why conducting a tree risk assessment is integral to ascertain the safety of guests, visitors, and employees. We provide industry set tree risk assessment services. We primarily use the formular Consequences x Probability = Risk to do our assessments
The 3 Levels of Risk Assessment
• Level 1: Limited Visual Tree Risk Assessment
This is whereby a tree will be inspected from a definite and limited viewpoint. Consequently, it has restrictions as to the risks that may be identified. This perspective may include a foot patrol, aerial patrol, photographs, or a drive by survey.
• Level 2: Basic Tree Risk Assessment
Level 2 entails inspecting the tree’s crown, trunk, and roots to identify structural faults. It is a 360 degree visual inspection of the tree on the ground.
• Level 3: Advanced Tree Risk Assessment
If anything, level 3 is more in-depth compared to level 2. It may encapsulate resistance drilling, drone inspection, and tissue testing.
Our tree risk assessments are often included in our Tree Management Plan for business, residential or academic premises. We have several ISA Tree Risk Assessment Certified Consultants ready to deliveryou with top-tier risk assessments.
Tree Risk Mitigation
After identifying potential problems, our consulting tree surgeons will give you a selection of alternatives to lessen damage risks. There are typically four solutions – Treating the problem area, treating the tree and removing the problem area. If there’s no other solution, tree removal is the last option.
